  • Answer the telephone in a cordial, warm, friendly and professional manner to take food and amenity orders.
  • Ensure orders are accurately taken noting any special requests and confirmed with the guest.
  • Refer all special requests to Supervision.
  • Verifies the guest room numbers and estimated time of arrival for delivery.
  • Obtain necessary approvals prior to processing orders.
  • Suggest additional food and beverage items to compliment order.
  • Enter all orders into the Point of Sale system.
  • Maintain paperwork in a neat and orderly fashion.
  • Total guest banquet checks notating applicable approval codes (hotel charges, credit cards, etc…)
  • Accurately use the Point of Sale system.
  • Treat guests with respect at all times.
  • Dispatches all tray and table pick-up to server/bus person.
  • Sort door menus according to time of delivery for breakfast.
  • Perform all side work as assigned.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the station and floors free of debris and clutter.
  • Knowledgeable of all the properties amenities and services, have the ability to make suggestions to promote the property.
  • Maintain food sanitation and safety guidelines at all times.
  • Keeps supervision informed on a timely basis of any undue variance from expected results and guest complaints.
  • Must be able to meet the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to departmental and company policies.

  • Vocational School Certificate is required.
  • Must present a well-groomed appearance.
  • Ability to communicate fluently in the local language of the workplace both verbally and nonverbally.Fluency in English is required and Chinese speaker is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Well organized, multitask, detail oriented, problem solving.
  • Ability to use the point of sale system.
  • Must have the ability to communicate over the telephone in a very friendly, professional, well-understood manner.
  • Must be able to initiate and engage in conversation in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Must have the ability to work any day any shift.
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision, handle a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment, and work under pressure and meet deadlines with particular attention to detail.
  • Must have the ability to respond to handle difficult or stressful situations with tact and diplomacy.
